Summary 

Balfour Beatty in partnership with Fluor is currently undertaking the $1.7B I-635 LBJ East project in Dallas. Pegasus Link Constructors is a fully integrated joint venture made up of Fluor and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc. with over 17 years of experience working together.  We are looking for talented individuals to join our team. This is a design-build construction project that will improve the capacity and operational efficiency for the portion of I-635 north and east of Dallas, from east of U.S. Highway 75 to I-30.

The team is seeking candidates to fulfill an EHS Representative opening.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate all aspects of the project HSE program.
• Ensure procedures and guidelines for the HSE Program are being complied with.
• Conduct safety inspections of the jobsite and take necessary and timely corrective actions to eliminate unsafe acts or conditions.
• Conduct and implement safety-training in the field for supervisors and employees as applicable to their specific jobs and assist in Daily Safety Meetings and Job Hazard Analysis development.
• Conduct Training in the field to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations along with company safety policies.
• Collect and review reports required for records and evaluations of performance of Safety and Accident Prevention Programs.
• Complete and review Incident, Injury reports as required to assure timely submission and to initiate corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Conduct accident investigations and preparation of required forms for timely submission.
• Insure all employees receive medical treatment for all injuries.
• Ensure that all sub-contractors employees comply with jobsite safety rules and regulations.

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience; a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years in lieu of a degree.
• Communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Heavy Civil highway EHS experience on mid-size to large projects.
• Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
• A valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual is a plus.
